Using Focus3
Campaigns and Campaign Categories
Overview
- A Campaign is a specific marketing initiative or source (ex. magazine ad, direct mail, or referral) responsible for promotion of the Property.
- The Campaign name, description, cost, duration and other attributes may be entered for reporting purposes. PDF files (such as proofs of ads) may be uploaded for each Campaign.
- Every Campaign is a member of a Campaign Category.
- A Campaign Category is a name used to group similar Campaigns.
- Campaign Categories are used by various reports to summarize the combined performance of their related Campaigns.
- When a Contact is added into Focus3, the Campaign responsible for referring the Contact is required. The value is displayed on the Contact Summary page and the Contact Details page.
- This Campaign value is un-editable on the Contact Details page after a Contact is added to ensure proper credit is always given to the original, referring Campaign.
- On subsequent Actions - including Inbound Actions, Reservations, and Tours - referring Campaigns may also be recorded as desired.
