Using Focus3
Listings
Overview
- A Resale Listing records Inventory listed by a Contact for sale.
- Only Users with the "Add/Manage Resale Listings" Permission may add or edit Listings.
- Listings records may be accessed as desired via the related Unit.
- Listings contain the attributes related to the house and/or land for sale and any listing agreement information.
- When a listing agreement expires, the Resale Unit will no longer display as available for sale in Focus3.

Adding Resale Listings
- Navigate to the the Contact Summary page of the Contact who is selling the Unit.
- Select "Listing" from the "Add New Action" drop-down menu in the Sales Path section.
- Click on the Parcel Name that contains the Unit for sale.
- Click on the desired Unit Name for sale to display the Listing Details page.
- Complete the fields as desired. See the Field Descriptions below for detailed field descriptions.
- Click the "Save" button to display the Contact Summary page. The Resale Listing Action you added will display in the Sales Path section.
Resale Listing Field Descriptions

Resale Listing ID
- System-generated value.
- Unique Listing identifier. (ex. 50)

Original Unit ID
- Value displayed from related Unit record.
- Unique Unit identifier. (ex. 1234)

MLS Number
- Optional number input.
- Unit's MLS Number. (ex. 123456)

Listing Sales Exec
- Required drop-down value.
- Name of Employee that listed the Unit. (ex. John Smith)

Listing Status
- Required drop-down value.
- Status of the Listing. (ex. Active or Cancelled)

Unit View
- Value displayed from related Unit record.
- Unit view. (ex. Waterfront)

Unit Size
- Value displayed from related Unit record.
- Unit size. (ex. .25 Acre or 50' x 100')

Days on Market
- System-generated value.
- Number of days since Listing was created. (ex. 56)

Date Listed
- Required date/time input.
- Defaults to the date created. (ex. 1/23/2006 12:00:00 AM)

Expiration Date
- Required date/time input.
- Date listing contract expires. Defaults to six months after the date created. (ex. 7/23/2006 12:00:00 AM)

Date Renewal Sent
- Optional date/time input.
- Date renewal contract sent. (ex. 1/23/2006 12:00:00 AM)

Date Renewal Received
- Optional date/time input.
- Date renewal contract received. (ex. 1/23/2006 12:00:00 AM)

Owner Status
- Optional text input.
- Description of Owner status. (ex. Under Contract)

Phone
- Optional number input.
- Owner phone number. (ex. (555) 555-1212)

Lock Box
- Optional checkbox.
- Check if listing has a lock box.

- System-generated value.
- Unique Unit identifier. (ex. 1234)

- Value displayed from Parcel record.
- Name of Parcel that contains Unit. (ex. Phase 1)

- Value displayed from Unit record.

- Value displayed from Unit record.
- Number of Unit used to order by. (ex. 12-A)

- Value displayed from Parcel record.
